You may have wondered about these co-authors of biographical reflections on the Apostle Paul’s various situations. Here we  are in a little German village. I had been to the dentist on a week-end with an emergency repair job on a denture. This was a really good guy who sent us on to a dental lab in a nearby village up in the hills. We walked in to what turned out to be the back door to the kitchen of a traditional farm house. There were two middle aged looking farmers sitting there drinking coffee, with hands all gnarled from field work. They took the denture and told us to come back in our hour, so we walked around the village. We came back and here I am smiling at Annelie. Now that was a near miss of a post-traumatic something on a vacation!
